ACS to participate in Rodeo Parade

The 2014 San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Parade will be Saturday, February 22, at 10:00 a.m. in downtown San Angelo. If your child will ride on the ACS float, please contact the office, so plans can be made for all. The float will be western/rodeo theme, so if anyone has access to things we can put on the float, that would be great. Some examples of things we used last year are: saddles, saddle blankets, lanterns, cow skulls, etc.


The kids can dress western in boots jeans and ACS T-Shirt. And if any want to wear cowboy hats, that will be good, also. Last year was chilly, so if it is again, make sure to bring jackets and gloves and maybe a blanket. We did spread the blankets out on the hay bales last year.

Saturday morning, the float will be on the street behind the YMCA. Please be there by 9:30; the parade starts at 10am. Judging of the floats begins at 8; all who would like to come help put finishing touches on the float are welcome; it would be really good to have a few students on the float at that time, so I hope some of you can make the EARLY trip.
