Elizabeth Mata PrincipalMrs. Mata has been part of the ACS Family since 2012, serving as secretary, School Board President, an active parent, and is now the Principal. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Angelo State University and is pursuing a Master's in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Mata and her husband, Deacon Marc, have five children. Ann Marie, Sarah Elizabeth, John Marc, and Matthew James are all graduates of ACS, and Catherine Grace who is currently attending ACS. They are members of St. Mary’s Church. It is a blessing for Mrs. Mata to share her faith both personally and professionally. -
Nicole Allen SecretaryMrs.Allen has been apart of the ACS family for multiple years, but has joined our staff recently. She has six children, three of whom attend ACS in our elementary school. -
Danica Jimenez Pre-K TeacherMs.Jimenez has been with ACS for 2 and a half years now, and is very excited to be a part of a great mission. Her daughter will be starting her second year of school with ACS this 2026-2027 school year. She is from Sonora, TX, so she has been around the area all of her life. She is also a type 1 diabetic. -
Maria Lizarralde PreK Teacher Aide"Mrs.Lupita" as the children call her, is joining us for her second year here at ACS. She comes with educational experience and eagerness to help our Pre-K teacher. She is so kind and wonderful! -
MaryLou Lozoya 4K TeacherMrs. Marybeth Lozoya is our 4K teacher. She is trained in early education and makes learning FUN in 4K. She and her husband Joey, are members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and volunteer at several ACS activities throughout the year. 4 out of 5 of her gandchildren attend ACS! -
Marisol Hernandez 4k Teacher AideMrs.Hernandez is the wife of our science teacher, Mr.Hernandez. She is on her 2nd year with our ACS family this 26-27 school year, and is here to help our 4k teacher, Mrs.Lozoya. This year, she looks forward to creating new friendships, and watching our community grow together in faith. -
Irais Colin Kinder TeacherMrs.Colin was previously our Pre-K teacher, but has since become our Kinder teacher! She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with additional training in Pedagogy, Purposeful Play, Arts & Expression for Children. Mrs.Colin and her husband, Juan, have three children, a daughter, Sheccid, a son Didier, and a daughter Irais, an ACS 8th grader. They are members of Sacred Heart Cathedral. She is also a volunteer with the CIU at Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, where she serves as a volunteer who helps victims of crime. When asked about the 26-27 school year, she responded: "Something that is exciting about teaching is that everyday is an opportunity to spark curiosity, inspire a love of learning, and remind each child that they are a beloved child of God with unique gifts to share. I am excited to help my students read their first words, make new friends, and discover their talents. I am so grateful that God has called me to be apart of this incredible journey!" -
Chandler Crane 1st Grade TeacherThis 2026-2027 school year is Mr.Crane's first year with ACS, He is very excited to spend his first year of teaching with us! -
Betty Halfmann 1st Grade AidMrs. Halfmann is the 1st-grade aid and tutor. She is a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She is most excited about working with a new teacher this year! -
Janine Hasty Second grade teacherMrs. Hasty is our 2nd grade teacher. Her daughter Jessica is an ACS alumna and her grandchildren Jaxon and Jillian Rose are students here at ACS. When asked about the 26-27 school year, Mrs.Hasty responded: "This year is going to be great! We have a fantastic staff, wonderful students and families, and Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! God bless ACS!" -
Murel Montemayor 3rd Grade TeacherMrs.Montemayor will be joining our staff here at ACS this 2026-2027 school year, but has been a parent to two ACS students! She brings so much educational experience and knowledge, and we are thankful for it! When asked about the 26-27 school year, she responded: "I am excited to serve God. I look forward to getting to join the ACS family and getting to know my students and families!" -
Rebecca Guerra 4th Grade TeacherMrs.Guerra is our 4th grade teacher and we have loved seeing how that classroom has blossomed! She is most excited to meet her new students this year. She can't wait to build meaningful relationships with each of them, and she prays to create a classroom family where everyone feels loved, valued, and supported! -
Jovan Pickett Middle School ELARMrs. Pickett begins her first year at ACS as the Middle School ELAR and 5th Grade Homeroom teacher. She taught for several years in the public school system and is excited to make ACS her new education home. She enjoys reading and exploring different genres of literature, spending time with her family, playing board games, and being outdoors. She is a member of the Cathedral of Sacred Heart, where she is a facilitator of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and Religious Education. When asked about the 26-27 School Year, she responded: "I am so thrilled to welcome families back to ACS for my 3rd year as 5th grade homeroom. I love giving out my Faith through teaching here and sharing the love of Christ with my students." -
Martin Hernandez Sixth Grade Homeroom / Middle School ScienceMr. Hernandez is the ACS science teacher. He is a graduate of Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Biology. Mr. Hernandez is our faculty sponsor for the ACS Robotics Club. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for 33 years and has two children who live in the Houston area. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Some of his favorite past-time activities include watching sports and playing a round of golf once in a while. -
Jose Alvizo 7th grade homeroom/Middle School MathMr. Alvizo is spending his second year with ACS this 26-27 school year! He has brought in a very kind and formal education to our Kindergartners, we can't wait to see his work in our Middle School. -
Robert Wray 8th grade homeroom/History TeacherMr.Wray is new to our ACS family, but comes with an abundance of educational experience. He is currently helping our Satefy Team, we are so excited to see what all he has to offer! -
Edward Hernandez Music Teacher"Mr.H" is easily a class favorite. Each grade in ACS has a music class, and our music teacher makes it the most enjoyable experience. -
Mikki Mandujano Assistant CoachCoach Mikki is joining the ACS family with so much to offer. We are so excited to see what she will do! -
Salma Fuentes Cafeteria AideMrs. Fuentes is loved by all here at ACS. Her delicious food makes her a student favorite. She and her husband have three children who are all ACS students. Salma, Armando, and Ossiel. -
Eric Regenold CustodianMr.Eric has been a longtime help towards ACS! We thank him for all the work he does!
